I was educated at Longridge High School and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Lancashire. I Graduated from Hull University in 1996 with an LLB. I attained a Distinction in the Post Graduate Diploma in Practice Course from the College of Law, York. I received my professional training as a Solicitor in Manchester and Leeds before joining Towells in 2001.

Within Towells, I have particular responsibility for assisting Claimants under the British Coal Respiratory Disease Litigation and British Coal Vibration White Finger Litigation. The Respiratory Disease Litigation has been a great challenge and, indeed, is recognised to be the world’s largest Class Action. I have found the work to be rewarding and take great pride in doing it to the very best of my ability. Working with Retired Miners, Widows and families from the former Mining Communities has been my privilege and I have met some wonderful people.

Outside of my work, I will happily while away the hours watching sport, particularly football, rugby and cricket. My greatest achievement has been my daughter, Lizzie May, who has now reached the grand age of 13 months.
