I was born in Mirfield, brought up in Dewsbury and educated at Batley Grammar School. I have strong local ties, which serve me well in my professional work. I Graduated in l992 from the University of Hull, having been awarded an LLB. After Legal Training in Ossett, Wakefield and Morley, I was Admitted as a Solicitor in l996. After acquiring extensive experience in Personal Injury work, I joined Towells in 2005.

I have extensive experience of handling complex and high value Personal Injury Claims. I have been able to specialise, which has enabled me to provide my clients with a first class service. Apart from Personal Injury work, I have also undertaken Industrial Disease Litigation, to include Asbestos-related Cases, Vibration White Finger, Repetitive Strain Injury and Occupational Stress. I have a keen interest in achieving procedural and academic excellence in my work.

I have a great love of travelling. In l989, I took a year out and embarked on a world trip, taking in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the United States of America. I have also travelled extensively in Africa, to include Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Swaziland and Lesotho. I also greatly enjoy sport. I thoroughly enjoy playing football, tennis, snooker and golf. I am also an accredited Football Referee. I am a passionate supporter of the world’s greatest football team, Leeds United and am a fixture at the Ground. I also enjoy following cricket, Rugby League, motor racing and, indeed, most other sports. I am a keen walker and in 2005, managed to get to the peaks of Ben Nevis, Snowden, Scarfell Pike and also scaled the 3 Peaks. I also enjoy socialising with family and friend and watching the latest films.
