RACING LUNCHEON

On Thursday, 19th June 2008, Towells were pleased to sponsor a Racing Luncheon, in the theme of Ladies Day at Royal Ascot at La Terrazza Restaurant, Waterton Park Golf Club, in aid of Wakefield based charity, Second Chance Headway Centre.

Second Chance is a drop-in centre providing vital community skills and social rehabilitation to individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. The charity, currently based at Pinderfields Hospital, is trying to raise funds for a much needed new centre.

The Racing Luncheon saw solicitors from Towells and other supporters of Second Chance gather in their finery to place their bets and the lively event, which included an auction race and a prize for the Best Ascot Hat, raised over £2,500.00 for the charity.
