SUMMER BARBECUE

On Sunday, 13th July 2008, Towells solicitor, Sarah Wye, hosted a barbecue in the garden of her home in the North Yorkshire Moors, again, to raise much needed funds for and to raise the profile of Wakefield based charity, Second Chance Headway Centre.

The event, which included a raffle and tombola, was attended by well over 100 people, including partners and staff from Towells and several members of the Second Chance Headway Centre.

John Woolley of Second Chance who, himself, suffered a brain injury following an industrial accident, spoke movingly of the long term problems of living with a traumatic brain injury.

The event raised close to £2,400.00 for the charity, for which Towells donated the food and drink.
